  • Get children to look at page 10 of the Pupil's Book.
  • Play Track 3 and get children to listen and point to each object.
    *Put your hand in the bag and mime feeling the object.
    *When children guess the object, pull it out and name it in English.
    *Repeat the game until all objects are displayed.

    Elicit what they think the teacher is saying.
    *Explain that pupils should listen and point to children when they
    speak.
    *Ask children for any names they remember.
  • Spend some time talking about why we have rules and responsibilities in
    Language:
    the classroom.

    Aims:

    *To learn to spell four high-frequency words (is, have, has, what)
    Learning objectives:
  • Use a notebook and a pencil to demonstrate prepositions.
  • Make sure each pupil has a pencil and a book.
  • Check that groups have a pencil, book, ruler and rubber in front
    of them.
    *Tell the class they are going to listen to a story.
    *Play Track 12 and encourage pupils to point and look at the pictures.
